Carroll Carter, Owner
Yoakum Texas
In 1974, Carroll Carter started selling Hochheim Prairie Farm Mutual Insurance.  Carroll established Carter's Insurance Agency, Inc. in 1980.   Carter's Insurance took root in Yoakum, Texas and has grown to a sizeable corporation serving Texans all over the state.  Today, Carter's Insurance Agency Inc. has  3 locations.  Carroll stays active in the over all agency management and planning.

Ruth Carter, Owner
Yoakum Texas
Ruth joined Carroll in 1985 as the office manager.  Carroll was chief sales rep and Ruth managed the office.  Ruth is still very active in the agency managing the corporation books, records, and procedures.

Eddie Carter, Owner
Yoakum Texas
Eddie Carter started selling for Carter's Insurance in 1983 in Austin Texas, but quickly left to work for Farmers Insurance as a captive agent.  Eddie left the insurance industry from 1988 to 1993 to work in the computing industry.  In 1993 Eddie started back in the insurance business as a captive Allstate Agent where he worked in Austin from 1993 to 1999.  Finally in 1999, Eddie sold his Allstate agency in Austin and re-joined Carter's Insurance Agency opening a branch office in Austin. 

Today Eddie works and lives in Yoakum where he helps manage the 3 offices.  Eddie currently is the primary broker for employer health and benefit plans with our sister company "Texas Benefit Solutions".

Craig Carter began his career in the insurance business right out of college in 1991. Craig has been a pivotal member of Carter's Insurance Agency where he has done everything from selling home and auto insurance to employee benefits to managing staff.

Adrianne Barnett, Customer Service Rep
Yoakum, Texas
Adrianne has been with us since July 2006.  Adrianne currently works with Bobbie Jo Garcia in Yoakum and with Chris Wilson in Austin as their assistant. You can find Adrianne helping out with the phones, and helping to answer general insurance questions.

Adrianne is working toward her ACSR Designation with the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas. This is a prestigious designation for Accredited Customer Service Reps. This designations comes after attending 6 courses on insurance products and services.

Bobbie Jo Garcia, Account Manager
Yoakum, Texas
Bobbie Jo started working in the Yoakum office for Carter's Insurance Agency in 2002.  Bobbie is a very accomplished Account Manager.  She takes great pride in her work and her policy and product knowledge.  In 2005 Bobbie earned her "Accredited Customer Service Representative" designation from the Independent Agents of Texas. 

Bobbie Jo works with Yoakum clients and with Austin clients.

Brenda Chamrad, Account Manager
Victoria, Texas
Brenda began her insurance career working for Hochheim Prairie and the Hoffman Insurance Agency in 1983.  Brenda  was licensed in 1986 and received her ACSR (accredited customer service representative) designation 1991.   In 2004, Jim Hoffman retired and Carter's Insurance Agency purchased his business.  Brenda joined Carters Insurance Agency with the merger in 2004.  Brenda enjoys working with the Crossroads Community over the past 23 years and looks forward to helping new clients with their insurance needs.

Sara Ratcliffe, Account Manager
Victoria, Texas
Sara began her career in the insurance industry in 1982. She joined Hoffman Insurance in 1999 and, upon Mr. Hoffman's retirement, became a member of the Carter Insurance team in 2004. Sara recently earned the prestigious ACSR designation and is proud to be apart of the Victoria branch of Carter's Insurance!

Serina Noyola comes to Carter's Insurance Agnecy with over 7 years experience in the insurance industry. Serina has worked with several major insurance carriers in the past. Serina brings with her a unique knowlege of commercial insurance, bonds, life insurance, and auto / home insurance. Serina also holds a past ACSR designation from the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas.

Chris Wilson, Account Manager
Austin, Texas
Chris Wilson began his career working as a Loan Officer for Carter's Insurance Agency in the fall of 2003.  A year later at the end of 2004 Chris expanded into insurance.  Today Chris Wilson is our Account Manager for Austin.  If you're ever near the Y at Oakhill, give Chris a call or stop by the Austin office.  Chris is very knowledgable in home, auto and farm and ranch insurance.  He earned is ACSR (Acredited Customer Service Rep) designation in 2008.

When Chris is not at the office he is usually staying busy with his 2 children, Haley and Josh.
